Hypnotherapy – for all the beautiful, natural (and often challenging) stages of womanhood

The journey from girl to young woman is as exciting as it is daunting. Apart from the obvious hormonal changes taking place, you’re exploring relationships, discovering independence and becoming more aware of how you feel both physically and emotionally.

Between the ages of 25 and 35 many women are making important decisions that will affect the rest of their lives. You may be focussed on pursuing your career, or you may be thinking about starting a family. You may want both. Some women fall pregnant very easily, for others it may take a little longer or they may need a little help with hormone treatment or IVF.

Having settled into a life pattern, the demands of family, career and relationships can often make a woman feel unbalanced and overwhelmed which can lead to stress, anxiety and even depression.

As a woman matures another shift and change begins, perhaps the children go off to College or University or leave home altogether and for many women, this stage can either be an opportunity to shift focus back to themselves, or a time when they feel less useful or needed.

Not too far down the road and life throws women another curveball – The Menopause.

During menopause it’s common (although not for all women) to have symptoms such as;

  • night sweats
  • difficulty sleeping
  • low mood or anxiety
  • reduced sex drive (libido)
  • problems with memory and concentration

So how can hypnotherapy help guide you through the stages of womanhood?
